How it works
How it works, step by step
Whether you run the rentals, help run them or clean between guests, here are the steps in the order they happen.
The cycle every stay follows
Whatever your role, this is the cycle of a property. Each step shows who acts next.
Set up
The host adds the property: address, rooms, inventory, documents and the check-in and check-out times.
Who acts: Host, co-host
Open for bookings
The host approves the property as ready, connects the iCal link of each listing and adds any direct bookings.
Who acts: Host
Stay
Each stay brings its own checklists: pre-arrival, check-in and, for long stays, mid-stay.
Who acts: Host, co-host
Turnover
At check-out the property is inspected with photos and cleaned room by room, with a ready-by time before the next arrival.
Who acts: Cleaner, co-host
Long-term lets follow their own life cycle: reserve, move in, notice, move out and turnover, each with its checklist.
If you are a host
You are in charge of the properties and the team. You decide who sees what, and you approve a property when it is ready for bookings.
You decide who sees what
Request access
Tell us about your properties through the request form. A person on our team replies and, if it is a good fit, sets up your workspace.
Sign in and add your properties
Add each property with its address, rooms, inventory, documents and its check-in and check-out times.
Connect your calendars
Paste the iCal link of each Airbnb or Booking.com listing and its reserved dates become stays. Give your export link to the other channels so they see your blocked dates.
Invite your co-host and cleaner
Invite them by email and assign each to the properties they look after. A cleaner sees only the turnover tasks of those properties.
Start the day on Today
Each morning it lists arrivals, departures, turnovers, overdue tasks, expiring documents and double bookings.
Review each check-out
Read the check-out inspection with its photos. If a damage needs a claim through a platform, the photos are already on record.
If you are a co-host
You help a host look after their properties. You work on the properties you have been assigned.
Some actions belong to the host
Accept the invitation
Your host invites you by email. Use the link to set up your sign-in.
Open your properties
You see the properties your host assigned to you, and nothing else.
Keep the calendar right
Add direct bookings, block dates and update stays. The calendar warns you when two stays overlap.
Run the checklists
Work through pre-arrival, check-in and the check-out inspection, with photos. The checklists follow a stay when its dates move.
Send changes for approval
Fill in the details of a property and submit it as ready. The host approves it.
If you are a cleaner
You turn the property over between stays. You use a short, phone-first list of the turnovers you are assigned to.
You see only what a turnover needs
Accept the invitation
Your host invites you by email. Use the link to set up your sign-in. There is no public sign-up.
Open today's turnovers
Your home screen lists the turnovers of the properties assigned to you, with the time the guest leaves and the time the next one arrives.
Clean room by room
Open the checklist, tick off each room and add photos.
Note anything unusual
Add a note and a photo for a damage or a missing item, so the host has the facts.
Finish before the next arrival
When the checklist is complete, the property is ready. You get a reminder on the morning of a turnover, and an alert if the stay moves.
Bring your short stays into one calm place
Tell us a little about your properties. A person on our team will reply and, if it is a good fit, set up your workspace.
